Stephan Knappstein DVM
Stephan Knappstein is a Canadian veterinarian who graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. His 22 years of experience in clinical veterinary medicine have been amassed largely as a mixed animal veterinarian working in rural areas of the state of Florida,USA. During that time frame , Dr Knappstein filled many roles in his career, including being an associate veterinarian at several practices, doing government and regulatory work, owning his own equine practice as well as working as a locum tennens or relief veterinarian for many organizations , including several shelters. Dr Knappstein currently lives in Costa Rica where he is active in wildlife conservation.
